We specialize in corporate, destination resort, and travel video presentations. Meadow Lake Productions was the first foreign production company ever hired by the People’s Republic of China’s Ministry of Tourism towards developing a video presentation which was distributed world-wide.
Producer/Director Richard Montague has received the national Communicator Award of Excellence and the Silver Telly Award for his work as a producer, director, director of photography and editor.

Ministry of Tourism
Meadow Lake Productions was asked to develop a 15 minute video
presentation for the People’s Republic of China’s Ministry of Tourism.
Our 21 day shoot itinerary included five beautiful cities: Shanghai, Beijing, Xi’an, Guilin and Lou Yang.
The resulting edit was distributed worldwide. The target audience, of course, was travel agents and their clients.

Real Estate Walkthroughs
The client on the Big Island of Hawaii needed to showcase her multi-million dollar, 8 acre home set amid 17 acres of Captain Cook’s historical pali landscape. Meadow Lake Productions captured both the tropical, botanical garden exteriors and the property’s two homes’ stunning interiors. Tough assignment. This sales presentation earned Meadow Lake Productions a Silver Telly Award for directing shooting and editing.

About Richard
Richard Montague
Richard knows both sides of local broadcast and network cameras. Featured in made-fors and series for ABC and NBC, he’s worked with Richard Gere, Charles Haid, Tom Selleck and James Brolin, among others. He’s familiar to northwest television news viewers for his weather anchoring on KIRO, KCPQ, and KXLY.
Richard has served as corporate spokesperson for Bank of America, Boeing, Puget Sound Energy, Qwest, Honeywell, Blue Cross of Washington, and many others. He’s directed, shot and provided editorial services for companies including American Express, General Electric’s Long Term Care division, Westin Hotels, Hyatt Hotels, Twin Commander Aircraft Corporation, Allied Signal, Salish Lodge and Spa and Stihl Northwest.
Richard’s company, Meadow Lake Productions, the first foreign production company to be hired by the People’s Republic of China’s Ministry of Tourism, contracted with that government to produce a national tourism presentation that was distributed worldwide. He also directed, shot and co-hosted “Adventure Northwest Magazine”, a broadcast destination resort travel series.
A director who puts pro and corporate talent at ease, Richard has directed actor Richard Dysart, NFL quarterback Warren Moon, Seattle Mariner Jay Buhner and Tuskeegee Airmen Leader and Four Star General, the late Benjamin O. Davis, Jr.
Richard is the proud father of two fine sons.
